Exciting news! The SIVC Foundation is proud to announce our collaboration with DKMS to support their mission of increasing the number of registered stem cell donors.

DKMS is an international non-profit organization, based in Germany, but with a strong foothold in the UK. It seeks to increase awareness about blood cancer and register donors for stem cell transplantation. This is important for treating blood cancer and other blood disorders.

Stem cell donation involves giving healthy stem cells to replace damaged or diseased ones in patients with conditions like leukemia, lymphoma, or other blood disorders. These donated stem cells help restore the patient’s ability to produce healthy blood cells.

Donors will sign up through the DKMS portal and provide a cheek swab sample. If a match is found, the donation process can be done through peripheral blood stem cell donation or bone marrow extraction. It's an    incredible way to make a tangible difference in someone's life.

Together, let's save lives and give hope to those in need. Any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us!

Best, The SIVC Foundation Team

(Important T&C - we are simply collaborating with DKMS - the donation process is entirely managed by them, to which they hold direct responsibility for)

The Velani Family is delighted to welcome Inshuti of Rwanda, as a new strategic partner of the SIVC Foundation. The charity works hard to shelter families in Rwanda by constructing sustainable houses that foster well-being, stability, and resilience for its community. Founded in 2015, their mission is to house families struggling against inadequate living conditions and homelessness while providing local jobs with liveable wages to the region.

Through our new alliance, we will support their work, and help to grow their footprint in the UK. This will be through both financial, and non-financial, philanthropic collaborations.

Speaking about this, the SIVC Chair, Liam Velani, said “This is a moment of immense pride for us. We are deeply honoured to be working with Inshuti of Rwanda, who provide diligent and important support for underprivileged Rwandans. It also marks an important turning point for our foundation’s activities, as we look to grow our fledgling international operations”.

The SI Velani Corp Foundation (SIVC) focuses on philanthropic and community engagement, on behalf of the Velani Family. It also leads the corporate social responsibility policy for the Velani Corporation, and its subsidiaries.
